The largest program offered by Catholic Charities is Emergency Assistance.  In 2006,  34,114individuals received assistance from this program and nearly a half a million dollars was provided in direct cash assistance to families in need.

This program combines material and financial assistance with advocacy effort for person in need of:

          Food
          Shelter
          Clothing
          Essential Prescription Medication and Medical Supplies
          Transportation
          Utility Payments
          Homeless Outreach

Emergency Assistance extends help and hope in times of crisis and need to families and children in cooperation with other social service agencies, churches, food pantries and kitchens.
