The largest program offered by Catholic Charities is Emergency Assistance.  This program combines material and financial assistance with advocacy efforts for people in need of food, shelter, clothing, transportation, utility assistance, homeless outreach and prescription assistance.  Catholic Charities offers the following types of Emergency Assistance Services:

Utility Payments
Food Services 
Emergency Shelter 
Domestic Violence Shelter
Clothing 
Essential Prescription Medication and Medical Supplies 
Holiday/Special Event assistance

Emergency Assistance extends help and hope in times of crisis and need to families and children in cooperation with other social service agencies, churches, food pantries and kitchens.

The Benefit Bank - Agencies have access to a computer program that helps low-income individuals and families access the public benefit programs for which they are eligible.
