In 2001, the Dioceses of Youngstown, Cleveland and Columbus forged the Tri-Diocesan Mobile Migrant Ministry Collaborative to address the social, pastoral and legal needs of the Hispanic/Latino newcomers immigrating to six adjacent counties in Northeast Ohio.   Through this partnership a full range of services are offered at minimal/no cost to HIspanic/Latino immigrants, community leaders, businesses and local parishes.

The Tri-Diocesan Mobile Migrant Ministry has also partenered with the Immigrant Worker Project and Iglesia Luterana La Trinidad in the development of Centro San Jose, a resource and welcome center for newcomers in the Stark County region.  Through Centro San Jose individuals can participate in:

On December 19, 2006, Brian R. Corbin, wrote an article for the MINISTERING TOGETHER website on the Tri Diocesan Mobile Migrant Ministry for the 2007 National Migration Week

In Spring 2006, Msgr. Lewis Gaetano of Walsh University wrote an article for the Catholic EXPONENT on the challenge that Catholics currently face as we work to welcome immigrants.  As the grandson of an immigrant, Msgr.
