Providing services to women and children has always been a top priority for Catholic Charities. When no domestic violence shelter was available to residents of Columbiana County, Catholic Charities Regional Agency opened Christina House. Christina House provides shelter to women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Other programs available are: in house support services, anger management classes and supervised court ordered visitation. Additionally, one of the largest services provided by Christina House is community education. A 24-hour crisis telephone line is maintained with cooperation from many local agencies.
